The Boat House is a very special place. Large, handsome rooms, some with romantic castle views. Super comfortable beds, plenty of space: each room has a pair of chairs or a settee so you can really relax. This b&b is a haven in a timeless place that’s always attracted artists, poets and adventurers. Park your car, check in and forget it, there’s just a short walk to a selection of restaurants, bars, amenities and attractions.
Our adults-only policy makes staying at The Boat House B and B a stress-free experience where you’re in for a treat. Well behaved dogs are welcome, and breakfast is included in the cost of your stay. Of course, location matters and with its fascinating history and stunning scenery, the ancient township of Laugharne is hard to beat. You could take a stroll around the Tâf estuary to Dylan Thomas’ Boat House, climb the castle and soak up the view, or join the locals for a drink and a tale in any of the pubs on our doorstep. Walking, cycling, history and culture are all good reasons to visit Laugharne, the unique atmosphere is a good reason to stay.
