All the Laugharne single ladies?

We have heard that there is going to be a special event going on this Sunday (8th October 2017) in Laugharne. As you may know, one of the township’s claims to fame is its special status as a medieval Corporation, and this means it has an official Portreeve who has certain civic duties. This Sunday marks the end of the latest Portreeve’s 2 year term of office, so there will be a special breakfast for him and several hundred close (male) friends. Invitation only in case you wondered! After this they will attend church and thereafter repair to a hostelry for refreshments. Reading between the lines there are likely to be lots of merry gentlemen in the area so if anyone in the vicinity is single and female, it could be the time to make new friends…
